I'm saying $750, cuz I got the 2G memory card, the DC output to use indoors when needed, the analog serial expansion cable, and the LX specific software like you said.....all that adds up to $750.

But with all that, are you saying I'll be able to display boost, AFR, and ECT all at once?? Eliminating the need for gauges? (sorry for being stupid, just trying to be clear. After all I DO HAVE a budget, and can't afford BOTH the DashDaq & Gauges, it's gotta be one or the other)

See above. You will be able to DISPLAY boost, AFR, and ECT all at once (and 21 more signals at the same time if you want small digital gauges packed on one screen :))

It's a scanner and display module with audio.

For example, for AFR you need the sensor that goes into the header or pipe. Then you need the controller for the sensor. The controller will have some sort of output that goes to a display. You can run that controller output into the dashdaq and display the gauge there.

So you might buy the Innovate LC-1. That's a sensor and cable with the controller integrated in the cable. You would run the output from the controller to the DashDAQ.

Whatever you do. Have a complete plan for your gauges/monitoring and logging. I suspect you will easily spend over $1k for gauges (installed and working). Everybody goes into these projects with a budget. They always go over budget. The first place they cut is the gauges/monitoring. "heh, it's got to run first, I'll get gauges later". Many times there have been tears later. Just sayin.

I hear ya bro. I hear ya. And with that being said, I'll have to stick with gauges FIRST. The DashDaq will have to be the icing on the cake later. :) I thought if this could MONITOR those parameters itself, I'd just go with the DashDaq alone......SHIT.

Just as long as you get the gauges you need.

Dave did an excellant description of this device.
    To further the description...
Trinity is like a "Web-Enabled Phone" or Microsoft "Paint"
DashDaq is like a "Droid Phone" or Adobe "Photoshop"

MAJOR point for the Trinity..... it is a programmer, DashDaq is not (yet) just everything alse and WAY more.
You cannot load or adjust tunes on the DashDaq, but you can on the Trinity.
HOWEVER....If you have a Predator (which I an sure you do) then you have a tool for loading/adjusting tunes. Sooooo......DashDaq it is.

The DashDaq is a full blown computer with a Linux core....so its lmiits are only begining to be tapped. Hopefully support stay strong.
Nathan (RedFox) is selling them for a better price than DashDaq site.

If it was the one with the speed logix braided lines we will have to change out a couple fittings for your upgraded fuel set up,but nothing big. Just an FYI ;)

Chase, if you have the time and money, do it, and do it right. Sounds like you are (or at least plan to). 600rwhp on a street car, if done right, is the cats pajamas. Don't recall if you have a LSD, but I would be thinking about getting the power to the ground. You will HAVE to have DR's for DD.

chase....... i will call you....too much to type.

i can speak, as can others, about the "joys" of driving a s/c 600+ hp car on the street. it is fun, but not without some headaches. if you want a 10 sec. number, there are other things to consider, but that is for the pnoe call!! lol

Well Chris, I'm about to head into work for the rest of the day. I'm off tomorrow after 3pm, but have a concert to go to @ 6:00. So if you can catch me between 3-6 CST tomorrow, that'll be best! :)

What I meant was an hour on the dyno. There will almost always be a few revisions that need to be done. But that wont suck the life out of Chase's wallet like a 100.00 an hour dyno will. Not to mention Johans time..
