Thanks Dave! lol...not exactly, i replaced em with Blastin Bobs Reso Delete... Dave you were the first one I thought about on my maiden voyage with the new exhaust. While this set up is very loud, it doesn't have the drone the stock muffler had. Stock muffler and reso delete had a violent amount of drone at 2000-2200 RPM. Going in, i had no idea how it would sound, or if it would drone...turned out pretty good, very deep, very loud, really aggressive when reved, but not the reverberation and vibrations it had. I would love to hear it outside the car @ WOT.
Hahahaha, sounds great Kyle, wish I could do that, but I´ll just stick to my vortech and maybe, just maybe, I will get a corsa cat-back. About hearing the car at WOT from the outside, that could be arranged...:smart: Fredrik
Thanks man...hahahhaaa, with your skills, i wouldn't have a problem handing the keys over. I reallllly like the Corsa Extreme, just to damn expensive to me.
I'm fixing some of the exhaust shop fuck ups and have it down to just headers and mid pipes. Enjoy! http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e288/kmr082671/?action=view¤t=IMG_0738.mp4
Exhaust being buttoned up today, long story short is don't trust anyone to do a quality job anymore...if you want it done right, do it yourself... Anyway, I ordered a set of Nitto 315/35/20 NT05R DR's...should be in Friday, so i'll get to the track next week and see what I have here.
Did a few pulls on a Mustang dyno yesterday, got two good WOT logs, and one drivability log to send to Johan... Here is both runs laid on top of one another...pretty damn consistent. Ambient temp was 90 degrees, ECT was 190. Max power was 472 hp, and 426 tq. Notice how my AFR mirrors the torque line, when it leaned up to 12.8 at 4250 to about 5000, is where I hit peak torque.
Forgot to mention, these 2 pulls are in 3rd...this dyno's speed limiter is 150 MPH, so we couldn't do it in 4th. Anyone know how this affects the numbers?
I always had my dynos in 3rd except one time...I dyno'd a little (~12 HP if I remember right) higher in 4th.
thanks Larry...Here are the two cam curves for comparison. Not really a apple to apple comparison, but it's all I have. Old cam was on a Dynojet, new cam on Mustang, so the number are skewed, so forget the numbers, just compare the two torque and power curves...From now on, i'll do all my dyno time on the Mustang.
