This thread is for performance wise parts. There are a lot of exterior mods you can do to the PT but im not listing them.

What parts fit my PT Turbo from the Neon SRT-4

    Exhaust:
SRT-4 3in downpipe (welding an extension needed)
    SRT-4 3in O2 housing
SRT-4 3in downpipe with E-cutout (welding an extension needed)
    SRT-4 3in Side exit Exhaust
The PT does have its own downpipe with cutout
    http://www.needswings.com/NeedsWings-PT-Cruiser-Turbo-3-Cutout-Downpipe-ptdpv5.aspx

    SRT-4 lower hardpipe (not upper)
    SRT-4 BOP
    Mopar/AGP/Forge BOV
SRT-4 WGA (AGP, Kinetic, Mopar S2)
    Check valve
DSP (if you have an ATX you will need a S1 PCM also)

    Spark plugs (suggested NGK 4306)
    spark plug wires
    SRT-4 Coil pack heat shield

    SRT-4 BT dress up caps
SRT-4 internal parts (belts, rods, pistons, tensioner, pumps, gaskets, ect)
    SRT-4 big turbo kits
SRT-4 Solid motor mounts (except tranny) (inserts are cheaper$$)
    Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Guage
All can be found at: http://www.modernperformance.com/
    Light weight Battery kit
    http://jmbperformance.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=21_124_37&products_id=30

The viper seats will fit in the PT but you will sit high it is suggested you trim about 1-2 inches off the bottom of the seat.

What else can I get for my PT

Throttle bodies are different from the SRT-4 and wont fit

    Stage 1 PCM

    Air Intake and catback exhausts
    http://www.raceandstreet.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=P

Airbox to turbo pipe (intake) and Airbox mod (best mod)
    http://www.needswings.com/AMX---NeedsWings-Air-Intake-Pipe-Kit-amxPTintake.aspx

APC Non-turbo strut bar (requires modification to the solenoid bracket to fit)
    http://www.raceandstreet.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=67204&Category_Code=S

    Turbo version strut bar
    http://www.raceandstreet.net/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=67205&Category_Code=S

    Rear swaybar
    http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/7657D6.html

upper hardpipe (if you want a bov mounted on it I would suggest buying the bov and having a local exhaust or performance shop weld on the flange)
    http://www.needswings.com/AMX---NeedsWings-Upper-Intercooler-Pipe-Kit-amxPTupperpipe.aspx

another place for upper hard upipe with bov options as well as turbo to airbox pipes for cheaper
    http://pt.dejonpowerhouse.com/

AGP use to make an Intercooler for the PT but stopped years ago.
no one currently makes an IC for us. if you want one it will have to be custom made.

If you want to pick up where I left off and make a custom IC that no one has. Buy an 18x12x3 - 2.5 in/out IC http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchan...CXR&Product_Code=IC0003-25&Category_Code=INCO
You will need two 90 deg bend 2.5" Aluminum pipe and two 90 deg 2.5" couplers
    http://www.siliconeintakes.com/prod...d=698&osCsid=a85cef098da08c021c9f067fb21456e1
You will need to remove the stock crash bar and will need to trim the metal below the holes next to the IC so you can fit the 2.5" pipe on both sides.

I know I left a couple things out but will update when I can think of them.

Wow that's amazing! lol, So many goodies. Question, you said the 682cc injectors would work, are those the same as the state 2 mopar injectors, if not... would they work!? :)
Also, my PT's a manual, and the two throttle bodies I bought (SRT4), would not work, so i still have 'em and just bored the stock one over.
    Thanks for all the info!

yeah the TBs wont fit their made a lil differently.

yes the 682s are the mopar stage 2s. up at our altitude (5600 ft) there a little too much
the stage 1 already on your 05 are plenty for the stock turbo.

1.Okay, I have a new set of SRT-4 struts sitting on Tein springs. I know the rears won't work. But could I take the Tein springs off of the rear SRT struts, and would they fit on the PT? Or is that a completely different coil spring?

    2. Whats is the different between a PT GT front strut as opposed to a SRT-4 front strut if any?

    3. Would like to lower it and use my existing SRT struts and Tein springs, but not sure if I can combo that with the rear. (To save $$$ of course)

    4. Also, I see you mention a lot about a horrible boost leak stock. Is this the "factory boost leak" that the SRT-4 Neons had with the line going to the intake and people plug it and get rid of that line? It might be a boost leak but I am sure the PCM knows about it and it is shooting for air into the intake which might help with spool.

    1. Weather or not the spring will work by itself...I have no idea. Honestly I'd recommend finding a PT Cruiser site, I know there are plenty around, and try finding the answer to that question there.

    2. Again, don't know for certain...I don't think there is a difference in the front struts. Then again, the PT Cruisers are heavier, so maybe there is. Again I'd try to find a dedicated PT Cruiser website, because I'm sure you can find the answer to that as well.

There is no difference on the front strut/spring its the same one. i listed it incase anyone is looking for a replacement.

The rear spring is completely different. You will need to buy a PT lowering spring set. Unless you can find a rear only set on ebay.

That factory boost leak on the intake pipe is there you can pull the vac line comming off the turbo and blow into it and you'll fee no resistance as you hear it comming out the intake pipe. You can remove the line and insert a plug on that weird looking 4 way vac bar thingy. 1>2-Tees>1 Thats the only one off the top of my head for leaks. its been years since ive been under the hood of one. When i had mine the first thing i did was leak test then rerouted all my lines like my neon still is today(nothing is PCM controlled). I dont even remember what the stock line routing looks like.

Bleeding air back into the intake while under pressure doesnt help increase spool but keeping you from building boost. Think of it this way. If your neon is sealed up take it for a drive and get on it then go back and unplug your red line off your up pipe then go for another drive. its the same size hole so you'll have the same effect. A boost leak is a boost leak these motors are happy when they have no leaks.

I'm not trying to sound rude, but asking why there are boost leaks is like asking why a park bench is wet when we need to sit down. Nothing comes perfect from the factory and also normal wear and tear of use. Every turbo car eventurally shows leaks. The point is to keep on top of them and treat it like a normal tune up. The PT due to its even more compact size then the neon holds in more heat and rubber and plastic tear and crack. Also if you hadnt noticed theres alot more longer hoses than in the Neon. Since there are increaced lengths and multiple joined sections they leak.
