Dude this was over 5 years ago. I dont remember what was on the car at that time. from what is listed there i just added a stage 1 and it probably had a 2.5in catback stright pipe. probably had the neon's K&N typhoon intake, S2WGA boost leak test, plugs and wires. There wasnt much on there at that time.
Here's everything the car had when i stopped modding it. It was running in 280's and pulling the neon's 264/364 by a full car on a dig,10,20,30,40 roll. Sounds like some nice mods there. Just this Saturday I bought a 2005 PT Cruiser GT H/O convertible used with 75,000 miles. A few years back I had one in a different color and loved it but traded that one in on my Magnum SRT8. Just got this one at a good deal and said "What the hey", a convertible for summer; IF it ever gets here ~LOL~
I know, my bad. You seem to be the only person with good documented mods with proven numbers. Thank you. So the SRT-4 K&N Typhoon will fit on the PT GT? No tuning device even with more boost, ported turbo and the S2 injectors?
The Typhoon was from my neon. i had changed intakes and threw that one in the shed. when we got the car i pulled it out since it didnt cost anything more since i bought it years ago. I had to reverse install it to get it to fit but it did work until i made my own 4" intake using a 2.5/3 reducer, Spectar 3" 90, 3"/4" reducer, 4" 45, 4" coupler, 4" 90, and the same Spectar filter with the spacers removed. No tuning device was installed because my wife... well now exwife didnt want anymore things installed. Had an SAFC II but ended up selling it. I documented what i could when i was allowed to work on the car. the plan was also to add a big turbo but never made it that far. The car was quick. Now when i see it around town it looks like shit and sounds like shit. I get depressed when i see it. it even tried to race me when i was on my bike 3 weeks ago.
Nice improvising on the intake! And that custom intake using Spectre parts sounds rad. Sucks about it sounding and looking like shit and its still in your town. I would hate to have to sell a nice vehicle and see it going down into the ground from a bad owner.
heres what the end result was. If it doesnt work heres the link the image. http://www.fquick.com/garages/viewgallery.php?action=viewimg&id=285225
