Finally got the motor done for my prostreet S10. It is currently sitting at the shop waiting for some chassis pieces and the 9" Ford. I found some C5 Corvette wheels for it that I sent out to have widened to 14". Here it is taking its first breath of air. The motor is a 383sbc with Dyers 8-71 blower, all forged internals, Brodix cnc heads, JE pistons 8.3:1 compression, MSD 6btm ignition, AED 750 blower carbs. The motor will put down around 800 on big boost and over 1000 on spray.

    After some tuning.

Here is the progress from how I bought the truck until now.

And I was gonna go with a 144 blower

Then decided you only live once...haha, so I threw an 8-71 on it.

Haha well I have some ideas that involve the Ford 9" with the biggest drag radials out. The new 18" Mickey Thompson 345/35/18 on my widened Corvette wheels for the street and most likely I will need some fat slicks for the track. I am trying to stay away from running weld drag wheels like every other big hp prostreet. I want it to look like a modern sport truck with big wheels and low stance:dribble:

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I was gonna ask you where you got yours widened Chris? I got a quote from Weldcraft wheels for 225 a wheel. The price is related to how many inches you add.
