Reminds me of when the Charger was being released, but look how incredible that car is now! I look at it this way, change was bound to happen, embrace the change and make it work for you! Same principle I use here at work when changes from Mopar come down the pipeline. The Chally is just what I needed, a 2 door hemi car. Granted if this thing was the same size as a mustang, it would be kickass. The size doesnt bother me at all, I liked driving the full bodied 2 doors from the late sixtys thru the early 70's. They were kickass as well, and roomy to boot. I am thoroughly looking forward to the delivery date of my Silver SRT8 Challenger. Once this car is in my possesion, I will begin making it a representation of me!

I was just glad to see it look so much like the real challengers...

i have literally been saying for YEARS that one of the big 3 should come out w/ a modern version of the REAL muscle cars...and i am very happy with what our mopar boys and girls have given us :dance4:

People are acting like somehow this is a completely different looking car than the concept, I am very pleased that it basically looks like the concept with minor changes

It is nice and pretty close to the concept..but I would have loved to see the concept's wheels get a green light. I'm not sure, but are those gooseneck mirrors toned down on this production version? I hope so...regardless..looks awesome!!!!

as similar as the two are...the camaro just looks like crap to me...mainly due to the lame attempt at "modernizing it" when they shoulda just went old school like the Challenger :woot:

    lost in translation...

If I had just plunked a bunch of cash down on an '09 Chally, I'd find myself a bit dissappointed in the overall dash/console treatment.
Love the car but it seems that I had my heart set on an interior that had a greater detail similar to the concept. What do you think? Am I too picky?

I had a very good idea that the dash was changing considerably. So I did not set my heart on anything near what the concept was. Actually, I did not like the concepts extra large far left gauge opening, it just made the cluster look off kilter somehow. Now, I am not saying I like or dislike this interior. At least not until the full interior images appear so I can make an accurate judgement. No matter though, I WILL NOT cancel my order.

ted - i would not cancel an order for a chally either!!! hahahahaah especially considering that i do not think interiors are really all that special on anything dodge does...... but that is just my opinion! hehehee

From what can be seen, its not AS nice as the concept, but its not too shabby either.

Like Chris said, its a Dodge... what do you expect?!?!

you just have to keep in mind that in order to keep the price down on these cars...you cant have everything be as amazing as you may want it...so sadly...if you want a fully done up car with interiors like the concept...your gonna have to shell out big bucks for a car or redo the interior to your liking...

wtf...they are charging 40,000 for this car, a little upgrade is not much to ask. I understand this interior if the msrp were 23,000.

I don't personally think 40,000 is that much when you consider WHAT your getting...

your getting a 425hp car with a 6.1L V8, upgraded breaks, suspension, wheels, if you get the SRT options you get DVD Nav, leather, SRT Seats...To me thats worth a lot more than $23,000

I mean how many 425hp cars can you find for around 40k with an interior like the concept.

If you can find them out there please let me know cause i want one haha

You had to know the dash would be something similar to the other dash's in the dodge lineup...to make a dash that is totally different from everything else they make would add a significant amount to the car.
