    UPDATE:

went out at did some "normal" driving with the predator plugged in to watch IAT's.

ambient temps 90* (it has been friggin hot here for the last week!!!!)

    idle - 104*
    city driving (20 - 40mph) - 94*
    freeway speed (60 - 80mph) - 95*
    wot thru two gears (20 - ???) - 109*

sooooo, considering i was seeing 160* + temps before at wot, i would say i saved at least 50* in iat temps!!! when i last dyno'd, the ambient temps were very similar to today's temps. florida is just friggin hot this time of year!!

i once heard for every 10* you can gain around 2% of power. not sure how accurate that is, but by those numbers i should be around 500 to the wheels on a stock 6.1 with blower/fmic. pretty much where i wanted to be!!!

thanks brad!! did some more driving........ still only saw temps range any where from 5 - 8 degrees over ambient when the car was moving. i did park for about 20 mins and saw temps at 120* for the first 3 - 5 mins after moving, but they soon went back down to the mid 90* area. i actually commented to my son while driving as he was looking at the predator, about what those temps might be when it gets cooler!!! lol

have you done anything to the motor?

    forged block? anything?

what boost are you running and what power do you put down?
