I'm not sure I can make it.......My daughter was invited to a birthday party on Saturday. I think my wife's taking her, but that leaves me with my son. I'll have to plan to go to Etown...Sucks being married at times.

 

Ditto. Same boat here Steve, one daughter (8) and one son (6). Stevo woudn't know nothing bout our pain ... yet, lol! So how old are yours?? If your son's not too young you should take him with you to the track, mine would LOVE to go with me!!

 

He's 6, but I'm not sure he could stand a whole day at Etown even though he loves cars. If he's there I also couldn't race the car...which I haven't done yet. I'll probably wait to race the car once I get the TC and new tires...My RSA's are on the wear bars on the back right now. I'll meet up with you guys sometime...I bring plenty of lube with me...Heheheheh:whistle:

 

What is this bs?!?! Mine's 6 too and you'd be surprised what stamina your son will have when surrounded by cool cars racing!! Took my son to the races at Laguna Seca last October for the first time, races I've gone to with my good friend for 10+ years now, and we were worried he might poop out. Not a chance. He was so jazzed HE was leading the way the whole time, we could hardly keep up!!

Take your son Steve, I guarentee you it'll be something he'll ALWAYS remember!! GREAT Father-son memories. Get Stevo to watch him while you run too!! I tell you after I did the SRT TE and showed my son the DVD of it he said, "daddy, I wish I could have watched you do that" I almost died!!!!!!! ANY and EVERY car thing I do from here on out I'm taking him.

 

Unfortuneately my son has Muscular Dystrophy and has problems getting around at times(especially climbing stair) and gets tired out quickly. I sure he'd enjoy it, but his condition makes things difficult at times. I'd like to take him, but not sure how the day would go...

 

Oh geez Steve, I'm so sorry, talk about putting my foot in my mouth, damn I'm an idiot. SORRY!! Forget everything I said, I'm a moron. REALLY sorry bro!!

 

No problem guys...I've been dealing with this for a couple of years now and am ok with it. It just SUCKS knowing your child is going to pass away from something you can't do anything about...His condition is fatal, but he should live to hopefully 20 years old. He's a great kid and I'd love to do more stuff like this with him, but like I said before its hard to do at times...

I read the PM you sent me last night...That guy on the LX forums is looking for $800 + the stock SRT8 exhaust which I don't have. If I'm going to have to pay $800 bucks for one I'll have to pass anyways for know. That Corsa deal for $300 was too good to pass up. I could've sold my Bassani for around the same price and essentially made a straight swap as far as money goes. I'm doing the TC and new tires in the next couple of weeks so I should probably lay off the cat-back for now or my wife's going to string my balls up in a vice!!!!!!!!:cry:

I'd like the sound of the SLP's, but I probably wouldn't like it loud all the time...especially with the wife in the car. I had the Magnaflow on my car when I first bought it, then went to the Bassani. The Bassani sounds similar to the Magnaflows in general, but is alittle more aggressive sounding. Its not a BAD sound, just drone's alittle to much for me. I drove a stage II car with the Corsa and like the sound of them, especially at WOT. I'll probably get them sometime in the future.

 

I'll be back HO's........Wife wants to get on the PC for awhile. I'll guess I'll have to get a 2nd computer to keep up with you WHORES!!!!!!!
