Well its confirmed. Last week when I was out in my truck, I thought I saw a 300C (5.7L) sporting a SRT8 badge on the trunk. It was a quick look as the guy drove by, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. This morning on my way to the grocery store to pick-up something the wife forgot for Christmas dinner I saw him again and got a good look at the car. A black 300C with chrome trim on both front and rear fascias, mesh grille and mesh fog vent covers, stock 300C brakes, "SRT 2007" plate, SRT spoiler on the trunk, shaved trunk wings, and SRT8 logo on the trunk. I didn't get a good look at the wheels or side because he was at a light perpendicular to me so I only saw the front and back. Unfortunately, I was stuck at a red turn signal so I couldn't run him down and show him a real 8. San Diego locals, have at him. Merry Christmas!
Yup, the SRT Designs are out in force... Best way to tell is the trunk badge, it reads, "SRT Design"...
I don't mind the SRT design models, but this guy had an "8" badge and the plate ("SRT 2007") was pretty ghey for a 5.7L.
yeah, i have run into a couple of these "design" packaged 300's...... not quite as bad as the six cylinder charger that had the full srt body treatment and wheels, and was sporting a srt6 badge on the back...... actually had to give the guy props for originality!!!! have not seen a poseur quite like that!!!! hahahahahaha
well we are a special breed. not anybody can be a 3csrt owner. go buy a f*ckin mustang if you cant handle 425horses you fagass poser. at least the srt design guys are getting brembo's and srt suspension for a minimal price upgrade.

I've seen two here in San Diego. I can see all the little "Ricers" as they post how they smoked an SRT! Lol!
hence the lameness hahaha... i dont mind them throwing together an appearance package but it should NO WAY say SRT on it even if it says SRT design...
Totally agree.... they should call it the "SLT"... street and Looks Tech... oh wait... they already have the SLT... Lol!
Yea, I heard about these "posers" before but never saw one until the SF auto show last nov. I thought it was a 300 srt8 and got all excited (because the Chrysler/Dodge display was so lame) but then I noticed it said "Design" instead of "8" and was like, WTF?!?! It was stupid. An SRT without the 6.1, someone tell me why?? :viking:
