Got the GC all gleaming today after installing a set of custom moldings from a vendor on the SRT8Jeep site, and various SRT decals from another vendor. I've also moved the SRT8 badge to the interior (Thanks for the idea Zoo!). Moldings are flawless in every way, no dripping, dirt, or or anything, I mean perrrrrrrfect. Thanks a zillion to Anthony Palella. And Squig's decals are sweet as well. I opted for the clear layer on all of them for protection. Since I removed the SRT8 logo, and the entire body is debadged, I put on an SRT8 license plate frame. I no longer have the factory resonators on the exhaust anymore either. I know this is just "baby crap" to most of you heavy modders, but I would like to thank everyone who helped, for bringing me this far on my daily driven GCSRT8. It's been a great time so far!! I got a loooooong way to go to get the Jeep up to speed with my Charger!! Enjoy.... As for the exterior, I am waiting on the list for Palella's tinted tails, so that's coming soon. Along with a shorty antenna on the way.... My AirHammer will be the first out on the market as soon as Scott is done with development.... Big stuff will be coming in the spring.... Chase
And here's the decals.... I'm in the market for some SRT8 floormats and iPod interface, but that's all for the interior for awhile.... Chase
Thank you gents. I take that to heart coming from such critical guys as yourselves. So thank you very much. Chase
Looks fantastic as always. Anyone ever put a GC shift knob on an LX stick? Would it fit? I REALLY like that...
and i can remember saying it to you on many occassions as well rick....... drop that ass i say!!!! btw chase, saaaweeeet pics!!! you make me jealous everytime i see the pics of the charger and jeep together!!! i am trying to talk the wifey into getting a gcsrt as well!!!! hehehehehehe
Chase, What rims are those on the Charger I really like those. What tires are those brand and size. Last question how much of a drop did you do and does it rub at all. Please let me know or PM me, Looks great.... John
Nice Chase! You're going to delete that sticker on the fan shroud when you get around to the engine compartment aren't you? Everything else looks just awesome. Especially the horn button and shifter decals. Does that guy do side moldings for Magnums? I'm getting closer and closer to pulling mine off. It'd be nice to have an alternative like color matched moldings if I didn't like it or there was some disaster with the paint underneath. I don't expect a paint problem since I've had Zaino on it since new and it's supposed to protect from UV but you never know. Color matched or black/black chrome corner molding pieces would be nice too. (That Charger is just stunning too. You should just post a pic of it every now and again.)
Do it bro....my wife loves driving it on occassion!! C'mon Chris, you can sell her on it man!! dooooo it!! Wheels are 3 Piece Forged Asanti 138's. 20x10 rear and 20x9 front with Nitto 420S tires. 295/30 rear and 265/35 front. Rear is dropped as far as it will go, not sure where I'm at in front. But yes, I had to roll all four fenders. No rubbing now though. Only thing I don't like, is due to the rolling, the front fender wells had to be cut out, otherwise the lining would sag. The Charger never has and never will see rain, so it's okay for me. However, I do plan on my fabricator, at some point, making custom fender wells for me....probably before the Southeast Shindig next year. Thank you sir, very gracious compliment Preciate ya man!!!! Chase
Nice RIDES! Chase smooth all the way around! My wife loves her Excursion too much to get the GC, but when the kids get older I'm going to push for the GC again. My little farts would tear the interior up with one drive through visit at their age. Careful with MOMO:suspect:. Your talking an awful lot with his man! Ricky Ricardo is usually on MOMO lock down.:nuke:
