Not to totally get off point, but in the cost department, here's what people never see in the initial package costs:

    Nitrous kit
    16 new spark plugs
    Switch set
    Bottle warmer
nitrous pressure gauge (preferably with pressure stat)
    purge kit
    AFR gauge
    Fuel pressure safety switch
    RPM window switch
    Fuel pressure gauge
    bottle opener
    2nd set of solenoids
    additional RPM window switch
Miscellaneous additional braided hose, fittings, etc
    supply of jets for tuning

And then $35-$55 per 10 pound fill - which would last 3-6 runs depending on how much you're using.

It can be done cheaper - but that list is $4,000.

I'm still interested in watching how this I-charger works out. It looks promising to me.

$50 a refill????? in Huntington beach it is $2.50 a lb. otherwise i agree. but a 200 hp nitrous set up will run quicker than a 200 hp s/c setup due to the ability to control the traction. also the wear and tear plus cost (gas and tickets) of daily driving under boost is not there. there are not too many opportunities to get on it in so cal streets.

they are only 20 miles from you all. not every vendor is out to get every last penny from their customers. $2.53 refills of their bottles and $3.53 for anyone else.

If someone was aiming for 550-600 whp what would be recommended as an addition to the I-Charger as a minimum for a daily driver? (no NOS)

    392 or 426 rotating assembly?
    9" Ford Rear?

I think the hot ticket would be a forged low compression 392 with an intercooled I-charger at 22psi. Should be good for 750hp easy. You would need a ford 9 for sure. Tranny and transfer case still have an unknown threshold of maximum acceptable power levels.

Holy crap! Less the 2nd set of solenoids(not needed), bottle opener(not needed, I can open my bottle myself), additional RPM windows switch(again, not needed), I got everything you stated in my NX NOS kit (with extra jets - which you didn't include), for $1300.00 from Dave at the Nitrous Outlet for my 06 GTO. That also included his custom ashtry switch panel. Additionally, there are tons of folks selling these complete kits (okay, used, but many great deals out there), for less than $800. I sold my kit when I got rid of my GTO for $650.00.
I guess Jeep kits have a premuim. Wow.
