Performance Package to All-Season Package?

My 300C SRT8 has the performance package of tires... The slightly bigger ones in back (although when I took delivery they were up front, but we won't get in to that).

Anyway - I was wondering if anyone has gone to all four of the same tires like the all-season package offers? This is my daily driver, and being able to rotate the tires normally would be nice - and more economical for me.

I don't see a big deal with this - but I may be missing something. I suppose I might have to adjust the tire size through the Predator, but I don't even know if that is necessary.

The SRT8's had two types of tires, the F1's which are staggered, and the RSA's which are same size on all 4 corners.

So yes, you can most certainly run the same size tire on all corners.

 

Exactly... Just wondering if people did it, and if there was any good reason not to... or something to consider in the process.

And the tire size only pertains to diameter, not width

 

OK thanks. Never looked at that feature in the Predator to see how detailed it was... Didn't know if that extra 3/10" diameter on a 255/45-20 versus 245/45-20 could/should be compensated for. LOL

Which ever size of mine wears out first; I'll change to the other size to make them all the same!
