Is there anything available in the way of plug in performance chips for the SRT8? With out having to buy the Predator and do it my self. Is there a plug and play solution? Similar to the Edge Performance Chips?

B&G also makes a plug n' play solution. You can flash your own PCM or buy a spare and have them write their canned tune to it. I have a B&G flashed PCM that is just sitting there because I use the Diablo handheld tuner now. B&G is a supporting vendor here as well and offers Diablo CMR tunes.

DO NOT, for the love of all that is performance oriented, get a Jet Chip.

B&G is the way to go.

And what do you know, Dave is a Supporting Vendor here.

I would do a search for "Jet Chip" here on the forums and see what our fellow member Markus did to his own Jet Chip. He was rather frustrated with it for some reason. hehehe

I had a Jet Stage 2 - didn't work well for me. I'd say B&G ... but Predator is easy to use. It's what I have now.

    Predator

Well it sounds like the chip is a lame way to go.
Now I have heard allot of good things about the predator. My question is does this come with built in tunes that I can just upload? I don't want to have to manually change my default settings. As I might screw something up? What is the downside to using the Predator and some other vendors tunes?

Did you notice a pretty big performance boost with the predator?

The predator comes with Can Tunes, so you can upload that and you are good to go.

The Predator comes with 3 canned tunes, having a CMR dealer make a custom tune for you such as, Power Ported Performance or Dave at B&G will liven it up a ton. That is definitely the way to go, and you dont have to manually change anything, the CMR dealer will do all that for you. And they know what they are doing so no need to worry
