OK I've had the Pedders on the car for a couple weeks now. I've run them in the city, on the highway and on the racetrack.

I'll cut to the chase and fill in the details later: Its a great mod. Its an expensive mod. It lets you do things otherwise not possible without them. It has consequences which you may find no big deal, or may be deal breakers.

I have a complete set of the bushes on my car to complement KW V2's and Hotchkis sways. Basically I told them to put every bush they had on and so they did. So take note of the fact that I am not using the fully tuned Pedder's suspension. My results may vary from a full installation that includes Pedders sways and coilovers.

Cornering is decidedly better. One thing I noticed immediately is the weight transfer lag when initiating a corner seemed not to be there anymore. For example, lets say you are driving 30 mph and you heel the wheel hard over left and hard over right, executing an S turn. Formerly, when you turned the steering wheel fast you had a split second where the wheels were turned, but the body took an extra moment to decide to change directions and follow the chassis. My finely calibrated SOTP meter tells me this lag -- which we all learn to compensate for by leading turns by a bit -- is quite simply gone.

I can't really define or quantify the performance experience much more than that. Its just... better. Everywhere. You are free to explore where the new edge of the envelope is. And make no mistake, that edge gets further out with this suspension on the car.

You have yourself a sports car suspension. Which brings me to -- for some of you -- what will be the bad part.

These bushes will stiffen up your ride well over what it is now if you already have coilovers on. Its not the sort of thing you will notice driving down a smooth road. You'll still be cruising smooth. But doing a highway that has been patched, or that has concrete pads that have gaps in them so you go bumpbumpbump...well, you will know you have poly bushings in the car for sure. Its not uncomfortable, but instead of a little fwipfwipfwip its a whackwhackwhack, and you'll feel it more. For those of you who still want to be driving a client lunch cruiser you won't be anymore... Unless your business associates all want to ride in the bitchen hearse from hell (mine always ask me to take the Magnum and they are down for the adventure).

Matt - do you have access ports to adjust the dampening for the rear coilovers? If so have you adjusted them and the fronts to soften up some of the harshness for daily driving?

This is one of the first mods that should be done to our cars.
I have the full track II suspesion and it's the best 5k you could spend.
