Well guys i hate to even list this as a PB as it was only by .005 & .16 mph. I knew going the weather wasnt going to be go for my PB try at 7.98 (98 0ctane) so i went with my 93 octane gas PB of [email protected]. The starting pad was ok at times but not at its best. The temp was 57 degrees but had hi humidity of 81%. My 1st 3 runs beat my old time by just thousands. The weather was calling for rain and the shys were black so we had to hot lap to get in as many runs as possible and i got in 7 runs about 15 to 30 min apart with out any icy or cooling down as i normally only run 4 times as i ice and cool for a min of 1.5 hrs between runs. ill list just the 3 that counted as the starting pad was hit and miss with my best 60ft at 1.75 and the worst at 2.10 as it burned all thru 1st gaer and shifted into 2nd b4 the 60' lite lol. My normal 60' are 1.73 to 1.75 with good track prep. The old mark was [email protected]. There were a few srt8 out there as there were only 3 jeeps and the rest were lx cars.

Thanks bad as it always runs consistent with anything over 91 octane. As sunoco and vp told me how to compete with the eastern gas guys its cheaper to make it than us ship it to you. So heres what they said is to mix 6 gal 87 with 3 gal vp109 gives you 93 octane and 3.15% oxygen which is a little short of there summer gas of 3.5% oxy. Its .07 & .75 mph faster than 91on my tune as i have enough timing in the tune there 4 i never have to change the tune. If i take a 4 run avg on the 91 & 93 the 93 is .12 & .76 mph faster.

    Nice times.
You should be able to lock up the bracket races.
Have you just tried an octane booster on 91? Some are pretty good (but some people are worried about using it all the time... you will not have to worry if you are only using for racing)....do some research on the different brands.
I think if you push the tune too hard on the octane booster it isn't too good for it. BUt 91 to 93 is simple actually you can get an easy 95.

Torco is one of the best octane boosters and 32oz of Torco with 20 gals (close enough to full tank) of 91 equals 95 octane

And hey....their main headquarters is in Rancho Cucamonga

I never have used the octane booster because there no oxygen in it as you no our ca laws limit us to 1.8% oxy. On my 93 octane mix both vp and sunoco told me how to mix it using there gas so i went with vp as they said use 6 gal 87 and 3 gal vp109 and that gives me 93 with 3.15% oxy so its close to back east gas as theres has 3.5% oxy. I have ran testing on octanes from 93,95,96,98 and 101 using unleded vp109 and sunoco 104 and each mix gained me a min of .10 to .22 overall on and avg of 4 runs each in the 1/8 mile.
