I agree. Sounds like she could be a warmonger in my opinion and just not qualified. Alaska is a completely different state and just because she can see Russia from her bedroom window, doesn't make her a good diplomat either. I think you guys are screwed either way lol..
since when did the vice president or even the president himself make a decision? its always been the people around them with the power. you know that cheney will still be barking orders even when his head is in one of those jars like on futurama.
I think Mcain and Obama are totally unqualified, but like Milan said and I agree, were screwed. Can it get worse then it has been for the last 8 years? Were going to find out the hard way.
I think McCains only real problem is his age. At least he has a real military background......call me biased, but I think your should have served your country before your allowed to run it....
well we all know he knows how to use an ejection seat....ill bet he knows better than just about anyone. oh: obama would be an utter nightmare though, he would cut our armed forces harder and deeper than clinton.
Does Bush getting a pass and serving in the guard qualify? I really do hate him and his father. So I guess im biased. Clinton sold us out to the Chinese and the Bush's sold us out to the Arabs. When will we have a President that is for America? Our forefathers are disgusted.
I agree but it will take more then that for him to lose this one. And im not republican nor democrat they both disgust me equally. After they spent 30+ million to tell me Clinton got a BJ in the oval office that was it for me.
I'm personally jazzed about voting for president for the first time since I got to vote back in 1996. For once at least to me its not the lesser of two evils but about the person I want for president. Also I'm rooting for Palin as VP in part because I understand how quick people are to judge you because you're attractive or have boobs/vagina or whatever and completely dismiss any other accomplishments or the fact you have a brain / personality. That being said, unless you're planning on getting off your ass and voting, I have a hard time taking commentary on either side seriously. Every election cycle EVERYONE whines, bitches and moans about the other party and roots for their party like its the Superbowl, meanwhile less than a third of people eligible to vote actually do. If you want things to change, then start voting. Otherwise, shut up. Its all hot air if you don't actually vote. EDIT: To make it clear, I've voted every time and even for minor local/county/state stuff. Just saying usually the Presidential election in the past was more a chore than anything.
I am flying out to Vegas on election day....however the polls open at 6 at my place i think....so ill be first in line for MC/PL :bigwink:
