Umm... Title of thread:OVERHAULIN' Challenger Overhaulin' being in reference to Chip Foose's Tv show Hello?? Mcfly..... And yes that has the 392 crate motor and i think it was the first production release if i am not mistaken
I saw this Challenger at the Fl Mopar show at the Don Garlits drag racing Museum in Ocala two weeks ago. The car looks nice, but it really needed a good detailing to be on display. In person, the car looks to be sitting way to low on those wheels. I don't think it looks right. The cobra seats in a challenger didn't go over very well either. They could of at least recovered them. I was disappointed in the overall lood of the car.
toy - which 6 was yours???? i was at that show as well (black srt charger with the flamed under hood area)...... glad i am not the only one that noticed how poorly detailed the car is!!! hahahahaha sad part is, at that show it looked the best i have seen it!!!
Ya sounds like the owner doesn't appreciate it as much as others would, but maybe he does so much, he drives it everyday? I guess in the end, it's just hard to stand up to Chris' expectations! Lol!
Mine was the aero blue SRT-6. I was parked between a black limited Crossfire and a very nice custom red Prowler. I thought the black '66 Charger with the 528 Hemi was one of the best looking cars there.
