Our local Charlotte Chapter of Deep South Mopars had an Anniversary Bash Yesterday and we sure had a BLAST! We started off at the Charlotte Motor Speedway with a tour and a van ride around the track at about 85-90 miles an hour! Then we headed for a car museum just down the road and they had tons of stuff to look at; older restored cars, hot rods and motorcycles and even a still that one time belonged to Jimmy Johnson. The we headed for a Nostalgic Diner for lunch. After that some of us headed for RK Collectables that restores older cars for customers and the finished cars in the showroom were all for sale. Some GREAT cars there, for sure! The car show was packed with well over 100 cars and they were only giving out FOUR trophies; needless to say we didn't get one ~ LOL~ However Tee and I did win door prizes. We had a ball!
