Right now the DA at my house in Chandler AZ at 7:30AM is 3368 and 84.7 degrees. Elevation is 1190. I'll check it this afternoon. This was a good weekend for some of the guys that are not usually DA challenged to have a better understanding of it. LOL Supposed to be 110 the next 3 days. Thatt Nano kit sounds like the hot ticket with N2O. So Dan beat SRT Hardware for the winner of the quick 16. Congrats Dan. Peeked over at LXF
Sam, It certainly cannot hurt performance, but I bet you are right about the nasty sound. The Magnaflow high-flow cats seem to be the way to go if you keep the stock headers, and if you have even seen them in person they seem like a pretty good value for about $400, especially when you consider what a good cat back costs. They are on the top of my list. Eric
Ya, I experienced a little of it at the shindig as well. No doubt I understand about ya'lls DA challenge, lol, but the whole point of this event in my mind was to get you guys and us guys in one spot and run em
lol We did that at the Shin Dig last year. hehe Great runs and glad you guys enjoyed yourselfs. Now, for DA Challenged... I have offered this up a year or so ago. I invite everyone to come HERE in Albuquerque for some straight up runs. haha You want to experience air challenged, then ABQ is the place to be.
Not to beat a dead horse, but not a single stroker ran with us on Sunday. Lou1355 had tranny issues on Saturday and couldnt, but besides him.... Just a tad disappointing that there wasnt more high HP cars there. It had such potential to be a huge showcase for vendors etc.... Maybe next time.
I dont really think it needs to be at an air challenged location, just all of us at the same track. You are right, we did do that at the shindig, but not all of us were running drag radials, axles etc... back then. Times have changed, more "race" prepped cars out there. Lets get this right one of these days already
Dan I hear you, that's one thing I was looking forward too was all you big time fast guys duking it out for LX supremacy! Your Charger impressed the hell out of me though, and it looks great. :future: Badazz Eric
Sure it does. Seems like many are complaining about a 2000 - 2600 DA.. hehe And you are correct, 2007 only a select few were race prepped. But hey, your sled is fricken AWESOME then and now.
Same track.......same day..........same conditions.............whatta concept  LMAO. :bigwink: Well most of you guys know how I feel about this. But just to cover my base again. Who cares what the DA is. Run what ya brung and lets see who has the fastest ride. :worthy: Dan kicked ass this weekend. He and Jeremy (PPP) where the only two big boy rides laying down consistant times. Everyone else battled tunes or traction or limp mode and even a combination of all of the above. :thongue2: But as far as the event went. IMO, they made a huge mistake pulling the vendors out of the quick 16 battle.
Where were all the stroker motors? Why didn't they run? I'm real sorry I couldn't make it - but gee - I had a pretty good excuse. Short of getting hit by a truck, I'd have been there and everyone knows it. Where did everyone else vanish to?
Thanks Cam, I was very happy with my consistancy. I do agree totally with having the vendors included. But since they weren't, I really expected the vendors to convince one of their BIG BOY customers to show up.
Thanks Eric. I wish we could have seen MikesT/A run. Heck, he is a record holder and unless Im mistaken, no racing by him. If Im wrong, sorry ahead of time, lol.
Well my times were somewhat disappointing, but considering that I had no meth,13* timing going down the track and 230*air charge temps and running out of fuel on the top.........I'll take the 12.4's........lol
i was ready to swim with the sharks, looks like i'll have to wait another two weeks. it was a blast though watching from the end of the marker. i noticed speedfactory's challenger is making quite a spalsh on the web..
