Live in Clearwater Florida now... Lived in Toledo for the first 29 years of life... all our family is still there, as well as Newark, Dayton, Marietta, Solon, Cinci, Worthington, Columbus, Cleveland, Lima, Monclova, and a few other places...:usflag:

In Columbus, we just don't even talk about bowl games anymore . . . . or NCAA championships. . . . or NFL playoffs . . . or NBA championships. I could be exiled from Ohio right now for even mentioning these topics. :fear::censored::fear:

Its been a rough past 2 years for Ohio sports all the way around. I got a better shot getting to the front of the line at the Madonna display. :drool::good:

I have to say I have met some very good people from Ohio, and my son and I have spent many fantastic weekends there too. However, the damn police force makes me contribute to the general fund, even when I don't want to.:doh:

I don't know how I missed this thread. I was born in Dayton in 1948. Moved to Englewood from 1950 to 1959, and then to Beavercreek till 1966, when I graduated from Beavercreek High School.. Navy from 66 to 70, back to Dayton from 70 to 75, then to California till 2001, and then to AZ.

May be back to Centerville for Labor Day.
