    JUST got home...

jesus, it took like 4 hours for the upp/bov install...and remember on the highway i hit 15 psi?

i ran a firebird (took him from a roll) and i was back to hitting 13-ish psi.

it seems cooler down my way, and i drove the car for about 45 min. i think it reset itself... i hope it isnt the bent bov blockoff plate again...i checked around it and there is a little gasket materal like it was squeezed out all around(like it should.)

think its the temp, or ecu reset or another leak!?!?!

More then likely the pcm learned after 10 miles of driving. Reason I say that is because on a hot day you will see 14.7-15psi on a cooler day it seems to be around 13 or so. We resetted the pcm you drove it and it re-learned the habits and applied those habits.

A significant large boost leak you can feel even sometimes hear. Usually with a boost leak one way to tell if you might have one is if the needle flutters (jumps around like crazy) on the boost gauge.

I say its the temperature and pcm controlling the boost based on the temperature.

Yes, then it self adjusted to the weather. Since we reset the pcm... takes about 10 minutes or 10 miles of driving something like that for the pcm to adjust and learn everything.

Being that its cooler outside you'll see lower boost. Hotter out you should see close to 15 if not 15.

While you were driving I was watching the gauge on and off and to tell the pcm is trying to adjust you watch needle spike drop spike until it finally adjusted itself. At one point I saw it hit 15 drop to 13 and with your foot on the gas still it went back to 15. That's the pcm trying to correct factors while learning.

You've been needing a boost leak test for the longest.

Well whoever told you that is full of it.

Only owning the car a month with stock vac lines and airbox and blue plate... our car had one leak and it was the hotside pipe. It was fixed and the system was completely sealed. Went a month later to do a boost leak test and system still completely sealed.

Boost leaks are not normal things and YES you can seal the system completely whether stock or not.
