yea its all plug and ply but you have to run 1 red wire to yhe battery

 

got my oil cahnged at the dealership and a tire rotation so my tires are facing the right way again. on th eway home this kid in a 335i was bugginh me for about a mile so i gave into temptation. i knew i was going to looses so i just did it for fun the exhaust tips were bigger than mine, and it was chipped and had a intake. we went from a 40 roll and i kept with his door all the way through. he then told me he had 380 hp i then told him i only had 230 hp

 

Huh what 1 red wire to the battery. The one's I've seen you don't run any wires anywhere its straight PLUG n PLAY.

What kind did you get?

 

according to everyone i talk to with bi-xenon you have to run a wire to the battery

I can say, well they told me to install my intake filter through my headlight to bring in more air. Who's they? ...make believe person? One person? Something read online? More then one person?

I'm sure directions came in the box.

which HIDs did you go with?

 

you do NOT need to run a wire. its incase you dont have enough power... but IT IS NOT NEEDED! thats why HID's take a little while to light up.

ill do the install for you for free!just to keep you from hurting yourself....

-joke... but seriously. ill do it for you. ive done alot of hid's....ill do it. or you can. no need to run to the battery.

yea me and danny were reading the instructions and noticed it said "alterative" wiring to the battery

 

It pays to read instructions :thumb3:

 

you need the extra wire to the battery. the ballasts use alot of voltage to charge up the xenon gas inside the bulb and the factory wiring can not handle the extra voltage so that is why the extra wire to the battery is needed so you dont fry your stock wiring.:thumb2:

 

so you and frank wired it to the battery? if so ill so the same it does not look that hard. plus i have brandon helping me, envious8
