you have stock bushings? if not, check them, the end of the line may have moved down, dan has mentioned this before. if not, then it's something serious with your tranny..............or, could be a release fork on it's way out. i can't get into reverse, and 1st gear is almost impossible to get into, and i have to granny shift due to the clutch not disengaging all the way cause of the tabs on the release fork are worn out.

As far as I know, Danny does have bushings and if anyone saw the thread that Dan made ~1 month back on srtforums (about the bushing problem/solution), well to my knowledge that was Danny's car in the pictures that he was doing it for. So if it's still happening with that fix, I would guess it's something else. I couldn't say what though.

Yeah that's funny. SRTF is down so now SRTC is the spot. It would be much better if it didn't seem that way. There's more to this message board then this forum and this thread.

SRTC is a growing site with a lot of knowledgable members as well as a better atmosphere.

Not to mention SRTF is just on a slow crash course. Its been sold by Ekool as well as its partner forums although Ekool still holds admin rights.

    Its still down :thongue2:

I've yet to see SRTC do any maintence that will require members to come back at a later time. Maintence seems to be done while live.

As for the transmission... yeah don't let other people drive you car and don't WOT shift as well as don't let other people do it.

05's have a notchy transmission to begin with. Third gear seems to be the worse with the occasional 1st gear. WOT shifting and all that jazz will just make it worse.

It can be a number of things... from some simple replacement parts to even worse... internal parts.

I tell people things all the time and no one seems to want to listen now-a-days. Yet, I am still a source people go to for information... sometimes it feels like I'm wasting my breathe.
