chillin man nm really same old stuff was nice seen the ppl who came out last wk ill prob come back down in month or so 2 chill again
Cool cool! Well let us know when you plan on going back down. Cheryl and I didn't make it to the meet lastnight. FHP got me yesterday on I-4 heading towards Orlando around the Polk County area got me doing 91 in a 70 :getlost:. I glanced at the ticket but I think it was $264.00. So much for buying a couple/few mods. That money is going to the ticket :furious:.
Yeah it does but like I told Cheryl I was due for it haha. Now I'm driving like a grandpa... sucks but I don't want another ticket especially for that amount.
sounds like me...i was good for awhile, a lil over a year, no moving violations...then bam, got hit with one...i was like DAMNNNNNNN lol. I used to get like 3-4 a year
damn that sucks man sry to hear that n yea im tryin 2 watch out so i can get mine off my record takes 3yrs got lil over yr to go
Yeah, it sucks. I'm doing the speed limit for a long time haha. Well I just read 1-5mph over you just get a warning. Atleast according to the paper in the envelope they gave me with the ticket. Its going to be tough but I think I can manage. I may take the class to get the points off and probably pay the fine by next week. FHP was on an unexpected location. Caught me off guard. I can chalk it as another location they can be at on I-4. The officer was nice, he did his job and I didn't put up a fight. Not worth fighting the ticket, especially since I would lose work hours going to court and speeding is hard to fight without some sort of lawyer. I got the ticket in the Pasco County Bartow area.
i'll just plead no contest in court, 99% of the time they lower the fine, and maybe, just maybe they won't put the points on your license. that's what happened to the last ticket I got down in Tampa
Each county is different. Pasco being the worst I have delt with so far. They are only opened M-F 8am to 5pm. I'm at work and I'm not going to lose work hrs for this ticket. On a speeding ticket you take a chance on going to court with it. He put down the radar he used the distance out he got me and to top it off he checked off the box of aggressive driving. On a no contest plea you take a chance. You can end up leaving there with worse then what you came in with. Yeah granted it would be nice if the fine was dropped to something less but on the ticket it says I was doing 21 over the posted speed which will be hard to fight it. I'm getting the points removed regardless because I'm going to take the class. Which Pasco county charges you a penalty if you want to take the class making the ticket be $271 instead of $264 originally. Then the class is like $21. I can honestly say I was speeding but I know I wasn't doing no 91 as on I-4 I'm always doing 80 in the 70 zone and anyone who has followed me before knows that. Either way I was speeding just that 21 over makes it look bad. If I had a court time at like 7pm or later then I could make it. Only thing is I would definately plea no contest instead of fighting it. I just don't want community service or any of that other crap. Driving all the way out there isn't fun either.
Yeah lol. Last time I get a ticket in that county. Well I drove back to Orlando yesterday after work and I saw 8 FHP and 2 Sheriffs in just the Pasco County area alone.
From whenever it turns 70mph till you get to I-75 if you want to be safe. I did the speed limit and sometimes 1-5 just to be safe. From the paper in the envelope 1-5 over is just a warning. I've passed FHP doing 10-15 over before and they didn't bother. I think they look for the big tickets anyone doing 16+ or better yet 20+... 30+ is automatic court summon and if the officer feels its necessary and depending how you were driving they can also arrest you.
