...things I learned at the Nat's this year.
    A) The cruise in Heath just keeps getting bigger.
    B) Heath only has 18 officers
    C) Ford drivers ...sometimes act foolish.
    D) some owners like beer better then cruising
    E) some owners leave for home early
    F) Keven really does know everyone and almost everything
great guy happy to call a friend.
    G) If you powder coat pully's, your blower belt falls off.
    H) Charger RT's can't beat red QC's light to light
    I ) and lastly.....it's a $157.00 & 2 points for misuse of power in Heath Ohio

    WAIT A SECOND....

You said "$157 and 2 points for 'Misuse Of Power' " at 3:42PM....
....but Dyno Steve didn't post about his $140 citation until 4:09PM.

Did you get something new for your trophy room?
    Take home a little souvenir?
    :D

    FRIDAY:
My friend Greg rolled into town with his 9-hour-old Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8:
Of course we ended up doing some work to it. :)

The Jeep is headed to RDP Motorsports this winter for some go-fast goodies.
(Only one pic, because I was busy with *another* radiator (Rachel's Jag) all day Friday.)

    SATURDAY:
I first want to say thanks to VCA-OHIO guys Sam Goldfarb and Terry Bosserman.
With the SRT-10 trucks being the red-headed step-child with braces of the Dodge family, these guys have gone out of their way and flexed the rules a little to let those of us with a bed in the back feel welcome in the Mopar and VCA families.

When I pulled in at 7:30A on Sat. morning, Terry greeted me and said he wasn't sure on a total of how many Vipers would be showing up. He asked if I could park to the side.....just in case they needed room, the truck(s) could scoot out of the way quick. No problem!

It sort of looked like we had our nose in the corner:

But....work the camera angle a little and voila:
Hell, I was just happy to be on *that* side of the rope. :)

I grabbed my GPS, hopped out of the truck, and found the VCA tent.
Inside was Sam, spiffying up his Viper:
One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.
    (Thanks for everything, Sam!)

    Okay, enough babbling from me.
    Let's get to the goodies!
I'll let these speak for themselves.....

Yeah- ya MIGHT want to get out of the way of that thing. LOL

It's not all detailer and hot chicks at Nats:
Sometimes you gotta get your hands dirty!

I also want to say thanks to Herb and Dick for taking a few minutes to speak with me.
Two VERY nice guys, and true car fanatics.
As Herb was signing my owners manual (YES!), I let him know that the truck was my daily driver. He said, "Excellent! We like guys like you". Totally made my day.
    Thank you, fellas!

Now, on to the other Mopars....

    Who doesn't love a tilt front-end?

    Yummy classics:

It's kinda like the Dodge Shadow I had in college:
Okay, my Shadow was NOTHING like that beast. :D

Sublime Green + Blower = GOOD!

    ODDITIES!
These are usually my favorites at the Nationals.
I was not disappointed again this year!

    Dodge Rampage:

Yes- those are real holes! LOL
    That'd be a fun project vehicle. :)

Saw this absolutely gigantic block in one vehicle:
As reference, here's Greg's hand next to one of the heads:
    HUGE!

Not quite sure what's goin' on here, but:

This van was running 1320's all weekend, and placed pretty high in the burnout contest:
It sounded mean as hell too.

One of the old Aero-wagons (or whatever they were called):
    ...with the built-in rear spoiler!

Heh heh....just what the VCA wanted to see: MORE TRUCKS!
    :D

    And last but not least....
FINALLY some love for the trucks!
    :D :D :D
