Hey MOMO, Layoff my German, pink polo with the collar up wearing GUIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bottom:
I took "G" through a proving grounds run today. She loved it!!! She kept saying "we daddy....weeee!" I topped it off with some feeding the ducks at the boat launch and a nice 10 second burnout/fish tail exit out of the marina!! That's my girl!!
*Ahem* you sure about that grandpa ?? Looks like I am gonna have to finally step up and shut the upper level EQ members down. That is of course, considering that you bythces won't run and hide.
Vehicle Dymamics 101 for REAL Drivers! Alright stud....we'll do a "Proving Grounds" run and see who can keep up with who! We'll see whos SRT is the fastest using ALL the performance parts of the car....not JUST the gas pedal!!! I'm not sure if you know this, but, the car actually has a steering wheel, brakes, and a suspension.
Oooooooh. I finally got someones attention. Funny thing is I actually was dumb enough to take my Jeep through there this weekend. Fun and scary at the same time. Needless to say, I won't be doing that again. I should have my Charger out by then, you will get me on the turns, but I will catch you as soon as there is a slight straight away, it will definately be a hell of a time. :beerchug: By the way, there is a dip about half way through the course, right before you get in the mountains. Please tell me you take that one slow. You can't really see it but it is definately there.
Wow, this should be fun... All I have to say is that I'm not great at either type of racing/driving. Luis... don't try to keep up with Rick on the twisties. The fucker is nuts and can actually drive. As for that dip, please tell me you took it at less than 20 mph. That thing is brutal.
Ummm, yeah. Let's just say that's when the fun in my Jeep turned into being scary. I swear it felt like I was popping a wheelie. I was at about 30-35 mph when I hit. Damn near lost control. Afterwards, I was hauling ass through the mountain area. Jeep actually handles pretty well.
Maybe if you didn't weigh 400 lbs, don't blame the dip you pucking chunky salsa extra sour cream, avocado whole sandwich eating pork chop.:drugs:
Luis, One of the more technical routes that is really fun because you never really get above 70 or 80 is the 1.5 mile course running parallel to the lake on the right. It goes past the Olympic training center to the boat launch and eventually to the dam.
Ouch. The Jeep does handle well... we got to drive them at the SRT experience. That route is a great area to test the vehicles out, no road surprises... but watch the gravel on the shoulders!
