One of the great scenic rides in San Diego's Eastern region. Lots of wide turns, some straights and low traffic... all surrounded by picturesque natural scenery. Take it fast or hang back a bit. The ride can be a couple miles or take the grand tour into Jamul (recommended). They have a 'special event' section for large groups with special menus and seating - indoors or out - (Ryan, here is the email: [email protected]) Depending on how this goes, maybe we could work out a special price/setup/car show with them in the future!!! Don't get me wrong, I (and others) would go to Phils for a M&G... but this was supposed to be a EQ organized event... where we try to keep it in Eastlake primarily because of the ride we take afterwards. Plus, we're the hosts and this is our backyard... thus we can host better as we know the area, etc. If someone wants to organize another event at Phil's at another date, please do so, I'll show. The Eastlake Brewhouse has an IMMENSE parking lot too... Folks, if you show, and I hope you ALL do, you'll LOVE the drive afterwards. Seriously. Just pray that the local bicycle numb-nuts aren't out and clogging the road (FYI: a common problem in San Diego for those not in the area).
