Had a conference call today with Chrysler and you guys are going to be really surprised with they have planned on top of everything else that we have planned.

 

Sounds really cool! Maybe we can pass a hat around for Chrysler while we're there

***Major Announcement, Change of Venue****

***CHANGE OF VENUE***​

We’ve been quietly working on an alternate venue for this years Spring Festival that would keep us closer to the host hotels and make the logistics of attending easier for both attendees and vendors. You asked for it and we listened!

We have been successful in securing one of the Irvine Spectrum’s huge off-site lots and we are now closer to both the Doubletree Hotel and the Chrysler Corporate Headquarters. We are also walking distance to the Spectrum and directly in the face of the Ford & Mazda buildings & Cars & Coffee. This is the same show that said, your not welcomed, Better than that, they will be thinking wt...., where did all of these Dodge's and Chrysler's come from.

This site will handle over 800 cars, and this does not include the additional space around the outer edge for all the supporting vendors, which is a tad over a quarter mile long. There will be plenty of room to both spread out as well as keeping things close enough to be able to see all the cars and vendors, There will be attractions in the middle of the event and vendors and food around the edges, with you, the participants in the middle.

Also for those of you coming with friends and family and staying at the Doubletree you will get to sleep in or grab a relaxing breakfast while your significant other is staging the car for the event because you will be able to take the FREE shuttle from the hotel to the event whenever you are ready to go.

If you have not made your reservations at the Double Tree, better not wait much longer we've already got 87 rooms booked. I have blocked plenty of rooms but I need to also have rooms available for the Chrysler folks coming from Mich. don't wait till the last minute.

There are now 144 SRTs, made up of 43 300s, 16 Challengers, 50 Chargers, 9 SuperBees, and 26 Magnums! That's over a third of the total attending.

Great news everyone, we have just confirmed Joe Dehner, Vice President - Production Car, Minivan, Truck and Jeep Design, Chrysler LLC and Tony Elias, L-Vehicles Chief Engineer to be at the Fourth Annual Spring Festival. I have personally met these guys and they are awesome. Many of you who attended last year spent time with them at the Double Tree or the event and will agree we are fortunate to have them. Joe is having his Chrysler 300 SRT sent to the event, he’s one of us.

In Addition we will have Mo’s Smokehouse BBQ to cater food for the event. They are located on Downtown Huntington Beach. These guys are good and you will not be disappointed. They have a great menu and the food is excellent. http://www.mosbbq.com/HuntingtonMos.htm

I will post more information as it becomes available. This will be the largest and best event to date. All you have to do is register in post #1 to attend. If you have any questions ask away, but you will not want to miss this.
