I was looking at the OBX turbo manifold last night and thinking about going 'big' turbo. anyways, the tiburon guys have good luck with OBX manifolds and they seem to be made pretty solid. i am including them in my turbo kits that i am building for tiburons, so i know they are good. but i just wanted to see if anyone on here has had any hands on experience with this OBX manifold and what they think/thought about it. heres a link on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Turbo-Manifold-Header-Dodge-Neon-SRT4-SRT-4_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1205Q7c39Q3a1Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem200265629702QQitemZ200265629702
the other thing is what 02 and dump tube are u going to use cause turbo brands are different so u might have to make it your self
i would be closing off the WG port, cuz the turbo im looking at is a int. gated one. and the o2 housing i would be getting my own made. i'm just not a fan of actual log manifolds. the flow characteristics suck, and if people have had luck with this manifold, misewell buy it.. otherwise, ill probably get a log manifold and the o2 housing to save time and a bit of money.
the log manifolds make no difference until you reach the high 500hp range. i know people have had good luck with the obx manifolds on other cars but from what i've heard about the piece for the srt it just can't handle the egt's, warping and melting seem to be the main issue with the OBX stuff. EDIT: after looking at the pictures i wouldnt be surprised if the flow through the OBX manifold was worse than a log. it will most definitely spool later than a log manifold.
