5.7 Charger Daytona PPP 426 Shortblock 8.5 Compression PPP Stage 3 5.7 Heads Custom Spec Camshaft Harrop HTV2300 Blower This is probably the cleanest engine bay I have ever seen. Even stock it looked great.
OMG!!!!!!!! THat thing is fn amazing! WOW. Dropped some coin on that...that's just awe-inspiring. Now I'm jealous Andy.
I think this is the first time I have ever seen polished cylinder heads, alternator, timing cover, water pump, and power steering pump.
Amazing build!! So how much power do you plan on this making? Atleast 700rwhp I'm guessing? Is there advantage with going with the 5.7 based heads versus the 6.1's, even though they are stage 3's. So who is the lucky owner and when is the unveiling? It would seem that such an detailed build would be heading to SEMA... Must be importabt considering Mr. Gilles signed it.
Randy's car is going to be sweet... and Ralph signed a ton of cars at the Spring Festival... heck he even signed my car...
There were a couple of reasons for using the 5.7 heads, first of which is because he bought them before anything else, so they were the starting point. The blower that he has can only be bought with a 5.7 manifold. Even though it will bolt on a 6.1 head, it is not optimum. With that being said, the 5.7 is a better match to the manifold and the smaller runners will make the car more responsive when not in boost. That was the basic reason for using 5.7 heads on a 426.
Wow! What bank did Randy rob? Oh... that's right... he still lives with his Mom! J/K... looks sweet guys! Is this the same set-up that you guys have him posted on your ad as 650 rwhp?
that's randy for ya, just rising the bar to an unreachable level. damn i hate having to show next to him. lol
Yes, this is the same setup. When the ad was put together 2 months ago, we didnt envision the changes that would occur on our end and result in delays. The plan was to have this car fully functional by the time the ad hit. The last 2 cars that we worked with that had this same blower made 630-660rwhp which is why we went with 650rwhp.
