Ok, we're just over a week away from the drive so here's the gameplan for convoy organization/identification.

Since we weren't able to swing fancy stickers, we'll be using white shoe polish like they do at the drag strip. This comes right off with a little window cleaner and a towel, so don't worry about stains. I'll be buying several tubes of the stuff this weekend and bringing it with me.

The Squad Leaders (ChargerGirl, SMosher, MattRobertson, and SRT-4D^2) will have a circled SL on their rear window.

Everyone else will get a # in their rear window which will match your number on the convoy list on page one. Remember this number, so that when your number gets called out or if we do a roll call, you can speak up with your #.

• All 300s will be following SMosher (who's in a steel blue 300).

• All Magnums will be following MattRobertson (loud black Magnum).

• All RED Chargers (Inferno or TorRed) will follow SRT-4D^2 (Inferno SRT-8 Charger).

• All other Chargers will follow ChargerGirl (Black SRT-8 Charger).

I will also bring copies of the first post and of the Google Map of our route for everyone. If you haven't gotten a number on your car or the handout by the time we get to the Lost Hills / Denny's exit, please come find me or one of the Squad Leaders so we can get you squared away.

If you are in contact with other members of the convoy between now and the 14th, please ask them to check out this post so they are up to date.

Double check your checklists and make sure you have plenty of batteries, chargers, and memory for your cameras. Also bring LOTS of sunscreen and some folding chairs and beverages, as I'm guessing El Toro will be pretty toasty on Saturday.
