John NICE runs!!! Well I guess I have to pull out the big guns Saturday at California Speedway to keep you at a stretch!!! LOL!!! Steve
I have the Zex 125 jets in BUT I was having trouble getting bottle pressure up ..average was around 600 psi...Weather has been in the thirtys so waitin for a lil warmer temps ...Jeep fluttered when I sprayed
Go for it Steve, I suspect many are going to be raising the bar multiple times . Im headed out for a while next week, its really hard not to put the 72 jet in and go to the track this evening :salut: 600 is way to low, the problem is you have no N20 going into the motor and massive amounts of fuel. You need to heat your bottle in some way if you want to use the N20 in cold temps.
Its a Zex heater that is supposed to have a thermostat that maintains temp.Temps has been in the thirdys here...I filled bottle yesterday and turned bottle on to make sure all fittings was tight and I seen the pressure go to just shy of 800 then turned bottle off...I also noticed this morning I checked to see if the system would hold the pressure overnite and it never.. pressure was at zero with bottle off from testing last nite...Should I be worried or is this common?
That's why the bottle has to be off unless you're using it. Nitrous will bleed out of the line itself over time. Your experience is 100% normal.
