So what team is on there the most?? And don't they keep adding rings?? Forgive my ignorance.....I watch NASCAR...the true american redneck sport.
Hockey = real sport (3 sons playing) Nascar = gay sport (what, wasn't the French F1 driver in Taladega Nights typical?)
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAA!! That USED to be my favorite smiley, not anymore though, lol! Did I hit a nerve or something?? rop: Eh, all posers! No one's getting the puck by Nabokov this year besides, Sharks are the hotest team in the league right now, that trophy is OURS this year, woot!!
You can still like it....sorry i feel bad now....just playin with ya....and yes the Avs are a nerve on me....im a huge fan love hockey.....and yes the sharks are doing awesome this year
I take back everything I posted earlier, THE SHARKS SUCK!!!!!!!! I'm done. (wasn't on that bandwagon very long was I, lol!)
One game does not a series make. Be patient. As for last night's action, I had to do a quick photoshop job: So far, so good. 1 down, 15 more to go.
Thanx but the Sharks have been down this road before. 108 pts and they lay that turkey last night?!?!? Winning 18 out of 20 down the stretch and they come out and play like that?!?! They looked slow, tired, inept with absolutely without fire. IT'S THE PLAYOFFS GUYS, GET MOTIVATED!! You're right though, we're just getting started but unless they light that fire and snap out of it they're gonna be out real quick. Funny too cause I think the fans got more fire than they do! I was listening to this guy on the radio this morning who was at the game last night talking about how there was almost this huge fight between some Canadian fans and some Shark fans at the consession stand BEFORE the game even started! Something about the national anthems and showing respect. Whatever, what I got was that it showed the fans are more fired up than the team!!! Sharks fan are getting impatient, we want that CUP!!!
Sorry, I didn't see your post till just now. Rings are "retired" and removed from the Cup. They are kept, I believe, in the hall of fame once they're retired. They used to keep adding rings to it, but I think they've capped the size of it to it's current height. The Stanley Cup weighs like 35 pounds or so. The Montreal Canadiens have won the Cup the most, with 24 Stanley Cup championships. If you're bored or just have some free time, the Wikipedia article isn't bad: Wikipedia - Stanley Cup One day I'll get to see it in person ... though I know I'll never be able to touch it.
