That's right folks. Your humble Eastlake Queertette is opening its typically invitation only Meet and Greet to ALL who care to attend! This will be our 3rd event, maybe this will become a regional thing... hmmm.... So, if you're up for a trip to Chula Vista for a nice lunch and a sweet ass ride around the Otay resovoir (aka: Eastlake Proving Grounds), visit this thread: http://www.srtconnection.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3466 and "sign up". Lunch: Miguels Restaurant (Mexican) Eastlake, Chula Vista Tour: Hosted, Narrated and Demonstrated by Bud (aka: Rick) Contact: diegochrysler (Ryan) Date & Time: Still being debated, so offer your opinions!
Sounds like we'll have a real nice time Jason! Let's shoot for the first weekend in April. It'll be good to see everyone again...and a few new faces.
Brother... you bet! Seriously... if we were feeling especially industrious, we could make this into an actual event, sponsors and all!
I hear both of you... I just can't help but to think of the possibilities for FUTURE meets 'sponsored' by the EQ. Almost a mini-spring fling comes to mind.
AWW come on! Be a sport lol...besides, have you ever driven across the country and then back...it'd be fun!  :beerchug:
Actually I have.....I drove from Salt Lake City to Jacksonville, North Carolina, then form there to Los Angeles...... Granted, it wasn't on the same day, but it wasn't fun.....the Jax to LA run was 36 hours straight (between two drivers)
Wow lol, you're far braver than I. I can't take anything over 8 hrs doesn't matter if there's 4 drivers haha.
yeah...did I mention it wasn't fun?? Cause it sucked. I just couldn't afford hotel rooms....only gas.
I drove from the Detroit area with 3 other guys down to Daytona Beach for Bike week a while ago. I did that once...and never again lol. It wasn't too bad driving down as the weather continued to get warmer and made you feel alive but on the way back? SUCCCCKKKKKKED! lol. Spirit Air can fly you to Orlando for less than 80 bucks right now (round trip) from Detroit and renting a car to beat on is just icing on the cake. I have to say, driving home from Daytona hung over with little to no sleep in the torrential downpour we faced while negotiating the hills of Tennessee was enough to thwart me from ever entertaining the idea again...for life LOL.
yeeeeeaaaaahhhh...I wasn't hung over. That WOULD suck... So...aaahhhh...back on topic....When's the meet??
I'll pick you up Milan, but you better believe that if I drive all that way, something fun is gonna happen in the car. :friends: I will be sure to take some KY and the Magnum XL's. You just make sure you look extra cute that day. :supergay:
You're allowed in the USA?!?! Luis... THIS is why you were recruited! Woot! My long drive history... Buffalo, NY - South East Georgia. SE Georgia - Buffalo, NY Buffalo, NY - San Diego San Diego - SE Georgia SE Georgia - Buffalo Buffalo - San Diego *all occurred within 5/6 months.
Milan, just to let you know MOMO is on his way to the SD airport as I write this....................................
