You can move the file around all you want...put it in the Predator and take it out...move it to your PC and back. I would imagine the "lock" is in opening and/or editing the actual tune file with CMR software. In my case, the CMR tune is actually a factory tune that has been modified and is much smaller in size than the original factory tune. I was curious about this and asked about it on Diablo's web site...that was the answer I got.
