Well Keith told me about this webcite, and it seems to have more knowledge than any other dodge site ive been on, so hopefully you guys can help me with modding the ram... Every car i own, i mod.. And get on the forums, Ford probes, Ford rangers, And now the ram... Im still trying to learn about the hemi so maybe someone can teach me something.. I have a 2004 Dodge ram SLT with the 5.7L hemi.. yeah.. no SRT, but someday i hope to be as fast as one... Right now my mods are... Dropzone drop shackles 305-50-20 sumitomo tires Magnaflow Catback Exhaust Reflexxion Steel cowl hood Street Scene Roll Pan 5% window tint all the way around Mods I WANT... 268 Cam 6.1L Springs and Push rods Ramhammer Intake 2-4 Lowering kit PAINT FOR MY ROLL PAN AND HOOD 2-way alarm Wish i could afford a supercharger or STS turbo kit... Hey Rocky! Welcome to The C! Though you're not an SRT owner, you certainly do have the bawls to be one. Doing that nasty burnout on Brice Rd. whilst 2,874 cops were within shouting distance takes some testes. :grin: You'll find a TON of info here about the HEMI engines. But be careful- a lot of these guys make it sound easy, and you might find yourself with a transmission laying on your chest. LOL Oh, and don't let them tell you , "It was really cheap." That just means "less than $100,000". :laugh: Also, note that the aerodynamics of the front ends on our trucks don't really facilitate any sort of 'hood air intake' or 'ram air' via the top of the hood. The one you've got now is sweet. Some paint and I'd call it done. Talk to Keith about the new painter he found via TurboBuckeye. Not a single STS turbo kit is left on any SRT-10's, but they seem to work alright with the HEMI engines. The key to that is tuning. Pay a little extra and get it done right the first time. You're gonna have a good time here!
thanks, haha yeah the burn out was pretty awesome... I was just happy to have both tires spinning... left some pretty dark marks too... I posted in the Photo shop section... I need ideas on how i should paint my hood... Rocky
