Chrysler shredded some weight off the 08 SRT-8 cars and jeeps.
Shipping weight.......... Curb weight........... Lost weight from 06-07 cars
Chrysler... 4081............. 4178.................. 43 lbs in both weights
Charger... 4091............. 4160.................. 31 lbs in both weights
Jeep.........4694............. 4819.................. 03 lbs in shipping & 31 lbs in curb weights
Shipping weight is standard eq & 5 gals of gas.
Curb weight is all options with 5 gals of gas.

 

wow wonder what they did, so the jeep GC srt8 is 125 pounds lighter in 08 than an 07 damn!

 

The jeep is 728 lbs heavier than the charger and 738 lbs heavier than the chrysler in curb weight.

i was saying its nice seeing the jeep 125 pounds lighter in 08, not comparing to the cars.

With 1/2 tank of petro(about 8 gallons), N20 kit and full 10lb bottle I tip the scales at 5080 in my 07.

I weigh buck eighty.

 

with 1/4 tank gas and nothing else EXTRA in car except me my race weight is 5090.I weight 240

 

I see but the jeep is only 3 lbs lighter in shipping weight and 31 lbs lighter in curb weight than the 06-07 jeeps not 125 lbs. The 06-07 jeeps shipping weight was 4697 and curb weight was 4850 lbs.

 

Glad we dont carry a spare tire in the Jeep
