Well, I had to do some work this morning down in El Paso which is 260 miles one way, so since Steve hooked me up on my new tune, I decided that 1bad4dr needed a road trip. I have to say that this tune is not only POWERFUL, but also economic. My City mileage went up from 12.5 to 15.5/15.8 and the highway went up from 18.2 to 20.7. Oh yea, I am so happy. Now, El Paso was 103* when we (Maureen was my copilot) left, and the engine temps sitting right around 215* (no worries, Steve has sent me an adjustment for that) and am still able to break the tires (four fishtails) going from 2-3 gear at 70+. Oh yea, and this is only at 8psi. lol The sled is a fricken ROCKET! Even Maureen was commenting on how much better the response is and how she is pushed into the backrest of her seat. Can't wait to get to the track and dial her in. Now, the Customer Service. I can't say enough nice things about Steve. I spoke to Steve just 15 minutes ago (8:45 pm PDT) and told him about the driving conditions and Steve did NOT hesitate to make the adjustments to my tune. WOW!!!!!! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much Steve.
Hahahaha!!!! I am not allowed to call in sick!! I just happened to have the day off, so I decided to get up at 330am to go for a ride! The tune really has made a difference! Now, as long as Ron can get traction when we go to the track....
That has now been corrected. We forgot to make the HS fan adjustment. No worries though, Steve is awesome and took care of the issue right away.
Congrats Ron. I can't wait to add a twin screw blower and a good tune later this year! I am curious as to why you can't adjust your fan settings yourself? Is it NOT stored as a custom Predator tune?
I can adjust them myself, but Steve wanted to make it right. Steve is anal that way. bwahahahahahahahaha And my fans now kick on at 175*. Woot!
Thats what I call "right". I think I'm going to go do that right now!!! I set Ryan's yesterday at 189 HS, 184 MS, and 179 LS...but, I told him after driving around for a bit that he "should" probably drop the settings another 4-5 degrees. Are all your settings set at 175*?
HAHA your closer to being a Hybrid than I am:bye: 10 more MPG and you can slap a Hybrid sticker on 1bad and call it a day-LOL Congrats on the new tune I know you were in a pissy mood the other morning when it would not even idle.
gee rick i wonder where you got your settings from...by the way those settings will keep you under 185 all the time unless you sit in traffic then they go to about 189-190
I give credit where credit is due! SDCarguy trained me on those settings!!! I have passed it on to Ryan....and told him you told me!!! :thanks:
VERY GOOD to hear Ron! When I put some more hard miles on the car, it seemed to perform better as well, so a nice road trip like that probably did 1BAD some good! I knew Steve would take care of you and when they set up shop in my locale, you have another reason to visit again.
