Just one more.....and no that's not a paint flaw....there was an "orb" in the pic.... :)

I REALLY like this, even better than I thought. I was hoping to "capture" the idea better, but like I said lighting was an issue by the time I got home. But I absolutely love how "subtle" it now makes the badging. It feels like a "mean, low-key" way to advertise my car is an SRT8!! I'll be adding the badge back on the trunk in the next couple of days as well. But blacking these badges out has accomplished exactly what I wanted it to. I now feel like my Charger is an advertised, yet under the radar SRT8!!! :)

I like it alot better Chase now that I'm seeing it on the car and with the overall theme. Did you paint the 8 black too? It looks like it from the pics...very cool.

No. The 8 is still chrome. I wish I would have gotten better pics, they don't do it justice.

Preciate ya Curtis! You can only see the KW's in that shot. In day-to-day stuff, you can't even see them. I'm basically trying to go 85% Brilliant Black, 5% flat black touches in there, 5% red touches in there, and 5% chrome touches in there. I just want those little accents to "pop" out from the rest of the car. Does that make any sense at all? All the little touches will be subtle, but will speak for themselves, and you'll be able to tell I thought it through. I'm REALLY hoping BWoody pulls through on this wheel idea I got. If they do.....you're gonna shit your pants man. Thanks again for the comps Curtis!

If you are going that route, you might as well paint the SRT red...similar to this

    chase,
i like it alot. gives it a "batmobilish" look to it. ive always wondered what our cars would look like in matte black. that is definately a badass touch, very hateful!
