marcel - not to sound like a total noob, but what/how much difference in lighting is there between the hid and xenon set ups???? i have the stock bulbs in my projectors and they are a lot brighter than before the projectors. just curious what the dif is between the hid and xenon applications!!!

The differenece between a Xenon and a HID set up is that a HID setup will have a projector and will either have a xenon bulb or a normal halogen bulb. A xenon bulb is a xenon charged light bulb that does not necessarily have to be behind a projector. In most cases they are though as it is more of an intense light.

Yes with a projector that is where the xenon really shines. Without it will still be much brighter than without a Xenon bulb, but with a projector it works wonders.

i think we might be confused...

just so I am clear on the options (regardless of appliation)

theres The normal bulbs that you'll get in any car, then theres the Xenon bulbs that are the upgrades that come with this projector lamp, then there is an HID setup which is different from the first two?

    Is this correct?

Ron just got the xenon conversion kit as he already had the projectors (which I now offer) and I believe you have the same ones. It is a bulb and ballast which is needed to do a proper install. I will be sending Ron a wiring harness also which we discovered is needed for these cars.

You are correct up until the end. A HID set up is a projector either with or without a Xenon bulb.

ahhhhhh, i see...... i take it that many people call xenon's and hid kits as one in the same. i do have the same set up as ron's headlights. so where do the ballast's wire into????? also, costs for just the bulb set up like what ron has. this is going to be one of the next mods!!! shoot me a pm marcel if you want, but i really want to know the cost of the set up.

Is a high beam application where we might use 10K-30K Xenon?
