Good Morning all... .Just got a new to me 2006 Charger SRT8, it has 10k miles on it and from what I can tell has only had a KN added to it. I looked up KN products on their website and I am unsure which of the two it is....but it's on there. :)

I will be around asking lots of questions....

You need the new TSB Rotors....call your local dealership and have them put the VIN# in the computer and that should tell them the whole history on the car. The prob with the bad ones is that they warp, and sqeel really bad and they score!

Does the Charger have slotted rotors? If so, no worries the TSB has been done.

If not, then go sweet talk your dealer to complete the TSB.

Also in about 20k miles keep an eye out for leaking transmission fluid as you might run into an issue with an o-ring. Its something the dealer should know about and can fix.

Are the o-ring and rotors something that is covered under factory recall or something like that?

YES THEY ARE! Sum dealers will try and charge you for the rotors, but the o-ring is deff coverd. If they try and charge you for the rotors, call dodge customer support or SRT support
