It happens a lot – people buy a used Magnum Kicker Sub with no stock wire harness. I spoke with the OEM rep, Jacob, at Kicker and he said that due to Kicker’s agreement with Chrysler, they cannot make and distribute the wire harness separate.

So what are we to do but attempt to wire the sub ourselves. The following is what I did and I thought I would share in case anyone else wants a clean easy way to make their own harness.

Okay, it is alright to laugh or snicker, but this works quite well and is clean looking as well.

Although this is not a step-by-step guide, I think it should be pretty easy to figure out!

Below is a picture of the parts I used. Cost less than $30.

You only need two of the blue t-connectors; I bought some to have extras laying around.

I wanted this install to be clean as possible, and since I couldn’t find anyone who sold what I needed to build a fusible link using the plastic fuses, I used the glass fuse (the yellow tube above)

I used the white for the ground to the body, the brown for the positive from the battery, the yellow for the speaker positive, the green for the negative speaker.

The sub wire is red for positive, black for negative, solid green for positive speaker, green with yellow stripe for negative speaker.

This is a picture of the plug at the sub

This was very simple to put together and install following the install instructions available here from Mopar Super Center: http://www.moparsupercenter.com/pdfs/77KICK03.pdf

If anyone has any questions about this build, please feel free to PM me!

Please feel free to share this information with any other Magnum owners you think might benefit!
