I like both man! And maybe I'm a little behind the times, but I like the original look you had better. But I'm sure after having it for awhile, you were tired of it. Either way, one rad skittle dude! Chase
Lovin the new look! Now you need the "chrome" colored turn signal bulbs to get rid of that cross-eyed look the amber ones produce. What color did you paint your rims? Graphite?
Thanks! I've been wanting to change the signal bulbs, just haven't gotten around to buy them and do it. The face of the rims are painted graphite but the inner wall is black.
That was like the first mod I did. lol They sell them at MPX for like $15 or so dollars a set. Really cleans up the front end. You must be talking about the section no one sees. I thought you were talking about the curveature area and you had just the face painted graphite, but IT LOOKS LIKE you have the inner portion aka curveature aka hard to clean section painted graphite too. My stockers are black and I plan on just painting the face, shouldn't be too difficult.... But yeah, great color indeed. Nothing over the top. You painted the foglamp bezels too color to match. Very nice. You used the Mopar spray paint in a can?
Actually the face which you see in the picture is graphite. The inner part of the rim (curveature/hard to clean area) is actually painted black. So the rim is graphite on the outside and black on the inner portion. Yes I did color match the foglamp bezels. Went for a cleaner look. Next to go is the front badge. I used the Mopar Spray Paint that comes in the can.
I must be blind but looking at that picture I posted above the hard to clean areas aka the places you mentioned LOOK graphite....
I bet you if I clean the inside of the rims they are black, I'll even video tape it. If you want to take me on that bet I'll have my paypal account ready. Yes its black as I am the one who painted the rims and I only painted the face keeping the inner part of the rim black from the original black w/red lip scheme. In the picture the inner part of the rim is dirty but I assure you its black. I painted them... not you. I kept it black because its easy to clean as with graphite you will be able to see everything. Look closer at the picture... the bottom portion in which the sunlight shines to is infact brake dust... no way does the inner part of the rim match the outer face.
