Would you mind saying how much that engine cost you finished and installed ready to go?...I don't mean to be rude, it is just that it looks so awesome.

i don't keep track of cost's because i have so much passion for this hobby and i am not big on saying what dollars are spent. If you are interested i will send you a PM when all is said and done. I can tell you that i do not regret one dollar spent cause i love the car seeing what it started out as and where it is today. There are some very cool comments here and i want to say thank you very much.

As for the wife and kids, there is not a day that goes bye that i don't appreciate what i have. i am a very lucky guy.

crazy on stock internals is right, even though i had an amazing tune that loved the nitrous, parts can let go at 300 or 600 just as easy with no warning so I got lucky. I am however looking for more power out of my new setup but hopefully a bit safer. My goal is 650-680whp with the new turbo, motor, and methanol. the nitrous could be a 100-200 shot for the top end of the track putting it around 750+. The methanol helps keep tempertures down and the nitrous sprayer should help with that too. I really do not know what to expect from the new setup but I do increase power slowly and safely and I do have amazing people helping build the car.
50trimsrt : thanks for the compliment

here are a couple shots of the car

just a quick update on the new build. the motor is finally going in the car. I am so far behind on this project it is crazy. A few shots of the methanol tank, firewall, and i coated the exhaust manifold. I put a scatter shield over the tranny and built a custom billet flywheel to replace the dual mass one that comes with the car. I put a stage 5 Spec clutch in with the solid hub. I should be at the track by the end of this month. Dyno numbers to follow shortly.

update on the build, I have the motor back in the car and running. That DCR motor sure sounds fricken crazy. I put about 600 miles on it with a tune we put together on a mustang dyno. At 1/4 throttle, 10 pounds, and 4000rpm it put out 242whp which is what I have been driving around on to date. The car feels more powerfull then before and I haven't even put any power down yet. I will be Putting some serious numbers down on thursday this week and taking it to the track on friday.

On a side note, the cruiser is not an SRT but does share the same motor as the srt4. It would be nice to have a picture of the cruiser along side the other lineup of mopars.

I thought i would share a video of the car making a few street pulls on a safe road in the back country. I met up with a coupleguys from our local track who wanted to see how the car ran so we shot some video. I have not added the methanol or nitrous yet. This is 13lbs boost on pump gas which isn't even close to the power it will put out. Let me know what you think.
