Ok im looking at getting either the needswings in cabin boost controller or the Turbo xs boost mbc. The turbo xs is twice the price as the the needswings. I was wondering if any one has used either one of these and had any input or expericance with them. I

m running a cheap ball and spring one now and im starting to get some bad boost spikes with it. I didn't know if any one had any luck with these. I know the Turbo xs comes with a bleeder to keep it from spiking so high. Please let me know im wanting to do this soon.

I dont have the money for a EBC right now i know there alot better but i have to work with what i got. I bought a wide band thats y i dont have the money for that.

As long as it is a ball and spring MBC it will work fine. I have an ebay special 9.99 ball and spring MBC and it has been working fine for about 2yrs now(still have it on the car)....

i have the ebay one and i hate it! Its so in conisitant it will make ur head spin!! haha andit seems to give me some massive spikes like last night the car punched out over 20psi on a quick spike in 3rd gear then pulled back to 15.

all mbc's are ball and spring style, that's not the issue.

i would stay away from the in-cabin mbc. the shorter you can keep the lines the better you are, and plus let's be honest once you set the boost you aren't going to be adjusting it constantly so it doesn't need to be in the cabin.

i used the kinetic mbc for about two years, never had a problem with it. i got very little spike, only about 1-2psi, and it held it's setting. i don't know if they even still make it but i would highly recommend it if you can get it. my boyfriend had the turbo xs on his car for a while and he also had no problems with that one. he tried the in cabin one and it was failure lol.

i had a dual stage manual on my tiburon.. was pretty nice. a bit pricey, but never had one issue with it. from in the car, i could flip a switch, load a new map from my e-01 and go from 8psi to 14psi without getting out of the car.

didn't use the function much at all, just nice to be able to
