its not the amount of power you add its how its applied. You could be driving in the rain and have the tire spin then hookup all of a sudden and snap there she goes.

Nice post earlier there Dave, you have a great way with words, no wonder I call you Mr. Wizzard.

Ryan, a simple thing to remember about a supercharger (centrifugal type) is they all do the same thing very simply ... suck in air and shoot out more into your engine than it could normally take in itself. More air = more gas = more power. Vortech "kits" like any other are really very simple to understand ... all they do going up the ladder is provide more boost (via different blowers with better inpellers) and that usually requires other externals such as better fuel pump, injectors, regulator, tb, ignition system, etc, etc., and in real high applications better internals like pistons, rods, crank, etc., etc. I thought our internals were pretty good but from my experience in the mustang world 5 lbs of boost ain't nothing so I guess we're pretty close to maxed out. Simply put, more air in equals more power.

You have to remember with the 6.1s the top piston ring land is way way to close to the top of the piston. This is why stock they cant handle more then 6 psi. They just cant handle the pressure. Now a "simple" swap of pistons and rods and boosting higher isnt an issue.

    Back to the original post....
I would do sways at the same time as coil overs.
    (A) You only have to lift the car once and (B) it will be cheaper if you are going to a shop and pay for the install.
You are going to need an alignment after anyways.
