From Droppedenali out of Austin,TX Anyone from Oakland willing to help out? Hey guys, Im in the process of negotiating a deal with MB of Oakland on a G55. The pics that the dealer took seem a little off since its under showroom floor lighting. Long story short, the color is Midnight Blue and well under the light its VERY blue, like a true blue and not midnight. Some pics it looks midnight blue or flat blue. My question is anyone kind enough to run up MB of Oakland and snap some shots of the truck without a flash on? Truck: Midnight Blue G55 - only one they have This is the only thing holding me back from buying this truck....
im in oakland, and as ron said, i would be happy to pay a visit to mb of oakland. let me google map it... ...its about 5 mi away from where i work. when do you need it by? its kinda hard to get pics after work here because its dark after 4pm....

Im sure u remember my blacked out 08 for sale....well it just sold and i am know picking up a G55. How soon can u run by and snap pics? This would be a great help!! Im just looking for other pics that what the dealer took so i get another perspective.
I believe its in the showroom inside??? Dropped you might want to give the sales person a heads up and a name of who ever is going by so he just not just show up and start snapping pics of the SUV-LOL. I would also look it over for body dings, etc. as if you were buying it yourself be his eyes on the spot.
Wade - I would rather not have the salesman know that i am having someone go look at the truck for me as I'm still negotiating with them. If you could look over this with a fine comb that would rock!
OH GOTCHA!!! Just dont see too many people at dealerships snapping pics of cars. Is it outside or inside?

it wasnt there when i went in after work and there wasnt a dan there....got off at 530pm. stopped by again today before thanksgiving and it was closed. there was however a silver g and a beige g on site. no sign of the blue g55. do you know which one its inside of? maybe i went to the wrong mb of oakland. tell him i went inside where the new dark silver c63 was on display. im out of town this weekend though, ill be back on sunday.

didnt pay attention to the address, couldnt see it at night and didnt look for it on thanksgiving morning. there is a used car mb of oakland and a new car mb of oakland. they keep the used cars under an overhang on the front of the used car lot. the nice cars are over in an expanded lot off of broadway. they had the silver and beige g on the lot. there wasnt one when i was there. find out if i went to the wrong site if you can. call dan and find out if i was in the wrong area. mb of oakland is huge. i was in the building with the c63 in the main window display with the silver g parked in the rear.
