I am looking at a Charger SRT8 and noticed these wires going to the PCM....It has been almost 4 yrs since I worked on an SRT8 but I dont remember any wires being clamped on like these...

Look at the 2 purple, 2 blue and 1 red wire in the top right side of picture.....is this normal?....or has some mod been added I havent found?

If I had to guess, it looks like those are for O2 sims?

I can check my wiring once I get home. Since I have O2 sims, the wiring should match up? lol

You also have wires going into port B that are aqua in color. I'm leaning towards O2 sims, but "Could" be wrong.

Thanks Ron......I am not familiar with the sims for the Hemis....the sims I had on my SRT10 were plug and play electronic....no wiring required..

Well I can tell you that the factory does not use T-Taps.

Yup, I have the SAME wiring taps. Including the same purple and aqua wires. This IS something from GSM. It's either O2 Sims or the old GSM ESP/Fan mod?

I am pretty sure the wring is for the O2 sims? If memory serves me correctly, the ESP mod was tapped into the wiring harness under the dash?

Definitely not the ESP/Fan mod....I had that mod and it did not wire into the PCM....must be the sims....but isnt working...

Probably not wired right? I noticed that the two of your wires are not connected to the same as mine. My sims work without fail.

If I go with this vehicle (still have more to look at) I will assume that it just needs a rewire for the sims...............but another question...cant the rear O2s been tuned out?..

So... you think it had a GSM blower, didn't work, and the guy dumped it on Larry?

O2 sims aren't for the blower, rather for LT headers, cat delete, high flow cats, or any combination.

He might have to smog it, even down there in the hills. If they check OBDII you might want sims instead of predator. lol, Ron is the expert on that too :)

The sims from GSM were hit and miss, I tried two sets on my 06 and had what's his face on the phone during the install of the 2nd set...still didn't work for me.

Also, not certain, but I think Larry don't have to sweat emission testing. His 10 was catless.

I would remove it and turn them off with predator/CMR. The latest CROM doesn't support rear o2's, I think it goes back to 9r12, check with Diablo...Of have a CMR guy do it.

If you do require emission testing, you will have to get creative to pass...either use the foulers, which is an experience in itself, or have to cut and weld in flanges on existing and some factory cats to swap out each time you have to test.
