As some of you have heard yes I do indeed have a Mustang, even tho it's never been seen it does exist and here's the proof ...
As you know big man....i think that thing is pretty damn sweet!!! hahaha its not a REAL Saleen....its just pimpified scotty style oh wait...were you gonna try to pass it off as a real one scotty? hahahahahahaha :thongue2:
WHAT?!?!? But you were so nice to me on my Mag pix, hahahahha! Hey just remember, just like we all come from somewhere, we all had to START somewhere ... and most did it with a Mustang, not a riced out mini-truck, lol! Good eye, 85 actually but there's no way to tell other than 86s had the then newly required 3rd brake light which I ended up with cause it was part of the rear wing. Like Stevo said no, it's not a "real" Saleen, couldn't afford one back then (this was my first brand new car I ever bought) besides, that body kit is from the 91 model year and it's waaaaaaaay better than what was on the 85s. Btw, I was tempted a couple times over the years to put on a fake Saleen serial # (I know exactly where it goes and what it looks like) but just couldn't bring myself to do it. And how do you know so much bout Mustangs, Saleens in particular?? Thanks for blowin my wad ... er cover jerkface, lol!!!
Nice car but I think Mustangs are like tampons every girl has one every time I step out some where I see thousanads of them.
That's still pretty good Mains, most people don't know what year Stangs went to FI. It's an 85 GT, my first brand new car I ordered and got in Feb of 85. Nothing super special bout it and I always wanted a Saleen so as the years went by I modded away. Only 2 things bout the 85 stand out ... last year with a carb (Holley 600 4 bar) and first year of the 5.0 "roller cam" block. I modded with the basics back then and eventually had a Paxton blower on it WHILE it was still carbed. Yea, big mistake. Was cool to look at, had that big black bonnet box thingy that encased the carb (some old Shelbys had them) but could never tune it right and ended up blowing a head gasket. When it was getting fixed is when I decided to swap to FI as Ford Motorsport had brand new kits just for doing that (all wiring, injectors, fuel pump, etc.). That's how it ended up a fuely.:smart:
Whatchu talkin bout Willis? I said the Stang is nice and is clean... Yours has become one of my favorite 85's I have seen to date...
I'm not a stang fan, but thats a clean ride and one of the best looking years .. I would paint the bitch white and roll Vanilla Ice style
I have had a few mustangs I do so love 4 eyes as well... Great car man! Very correct (except for the rims) for a saleen...
It's good to see, CHEATEK!! Beautiful!! Here's my other ride... http://i365.photobucket.com/albums/oo99/deaconsrt8/Misc086.jpg '01 Cobra. ATI Procharger, extensive work. 530 crank hp and 500 ft-lbs tq.
Hahhaha, I know, I was talkin bout the "boooooooooo" remark, lol! Totally agree, the reason is cause they're realitively inexpensive and easy and fun to mod. I stopped driving mine tho cause of the way I get treated by OTHER stang drivers, it's crazy. Just pull up to a light next to one and get flipped off, what's that all about?!?! I get treated better by Camaro guys. SERIOUSLY!!!!! Thanx! Hahahhahaa, I'll hold still if you do! lol! Ice, Ice Baby, lol!! Thanx Tony!! Thanx bro!! Me too, the "quad-lighters" were only around those first few years. As for the Saleen wheels I know, I actually had a set of black mesh "Enkei 92" style wheels on it originally and they were a pretty good copy to what Saleen had at the time. Years later I had a set of new Saleen wheels all picked out till I fell in love with the Cobra R rims and had to have them. Oh well, best layed plans ...
Nice & red! My first car was a '68 Stang fastback 289 2bl, I thought it was faster than heck, I was a wrong.
hahaha fair enough... For modular mustangs be sure to stop by there. I am admin there under the screenname of GasAlley.
