My HID proector project **done and FAIL**

    duh tools..PS I am not happy with the Dupli color clear

    duh prep...I ended up using the tan auto tape instead of the blue

    primer coat

    unwrapped and not happy with the clear coat. Im going to wet sand and try a differient clear

    Next I will be fabbing the projector house to except my HID bulb. I think I already have a problem because I have the high/low bulb. Im pertty sure I am going to put a black pin stripe, to seperate the silve from the glasss. Oppinions and suggestion welcome.

    Update: I ended up wet sanding the Clear coat off and using a differient CC

    Well I think the current setup will be a 100X better than the OEM lights. As for the black stripe, maybe get some thin black pinstripe tape and do a test. I can not vision in my head that the black stripe will look good. IMO of course.

    Thats what I was thinking was pin stripe tape and now I have to use it beacuse I fudged up removing the tape. :bang:

    Thanks, is just something to do till my big project starts (pending cash flow). The bulbs are in and pin stripes applyed **on one** the other light had to be resanded, primed and painted, Im post on between coats hee. Ill have more oictures tomorrow.

    Its a HIDSol *caliberforums* kits, with relay. I did the parking light patch to fix the flicker
